Dave Coplin, Chief Envisioning Officer at Microsoft UK, is an acknowledged envisioner, author and speaker on modern business transformation and new work models enabled by technology. In this animation video he challenges commonly held beliefs and presumably innovative concepts of modern working.

Though being Microsoft’s man for the big vision with a strong technical background himself, his observations and arguments start with the human needs and the fundamentals of human interaction, not with technology. It is entertaining to hear what he says about open space offices, home office rules and the significance of trust at the workplace.

The way to a modern, flexible working still seems to require a lot of new learning and change in attitude on parts of all sides – by the companies, the individual employee and the colleagues.
